Known for its strength and consistent look, Maple has been used to make furniture in the U.S. since the early Colonial days. We offer Maple as a standard wood species on all of our product lines, and Rustic Maple is available in Framed and Euro. Maple is the species of choice for our wide variety of paint options; standard stain colors are shown below.

Maple is a stiff, strong heavy wood with a tight, uniform grain pattern and a smooth surface. Characteristics include burled grain, pin knots, and caramelizing. Maple varies in color from nearly white to yellow, pink, light purple and slightly reddish brown. The smooth, even surface of Maple makes it the wood of choice for all of our paint colors and burnished stains.

Rustic Maple shares the same attributes as Maple, and features a random blend of natural characteristics that occur much more frequently than in Maple.

A range of grain patterns and colors may appear on the same panel, and adjacent door and drawer fronts may not match each other. These are natural characteristics of Maple and are not considered a defect.
