Knotty, or Rustic Pine, has been used for everything from structural timber and flooring to furniture and even boat building. Early settlers moving west likely appreciated the relatively light weight of pine materials! We offer Rustic Pine in our Euro cabinet line, in the stains below.

Rustic Pine is a relatively light softwood with a distinctive, broadly spaced light and dark grain pattern. It is strong and stable for a softwood, however the surface will dent easily, enhancing the naturally rustic characteristics. Natural knots are present and will vary in shape and size. Mineral streaks and water stains are common, and colors range from very white to yellow and reddish brown. Rustic Pine will darken and take on a rich, golden hue over time.

A range of grain patterns and colors may appear on the same panel, and adjacent door and drawer fronts may not match each other. These are natural characteristics of Rustic Pine and are not considered a defect.
